Line JK1036; Mbuti Pygmy from the Ituri Forest in northeast Zaire; speaks languages of the Niger Kordofanian & Nilosaharan families; adult; 46,XX; Yale-Stanford Collection. This cell line may be polyclonal as indicated by the proportion of IgL kappa (62%) compared to total IgL expression determined by cDNA microarray (see PMID: 14583597). This proportion is within the range observed for peripheral blood lymphocytes (60-70%) and is similar to that (60%) seen in polyclonal B-cells (see PMID: 404386). |
