Ruby O'Lexy, PhD

Director, Research Office

Ruby O’Lexy, PhD, is the Director of the Research Office at Coriell. In her role, Ruby helps to expand Coriell’s research capacity by pinpointing funding opportunities which align with the institute’s priorities, coordinating proposal development and providing high level proposal support. She also works to facilitate strategic research advancement and enhancement of team science through interfacing with external partners and developing collaborations between our investigators and other institutions.

Prior to Coriell, Ruby completed her doctoral degree in cell and molecular biology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, studying the regulation of intercellular signaling. Ruby received her undergraduate degree in biology from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ.

Ruby also serves as a member of Project H.O.P.E.’s Board of Directors.
