Dr. Steven Madore, Coriell's Director of Biobanking, is identified by South Jersey Biz magazine as one of the region's most influential figures in the healthcare field.
The publication's first ever "Best of Healthcare" segment features important leaders in the areas of medicine, research and advocacy, spotlighting rising stars, successful partnerships, noteworthy trendsetters and pioneering researchers.
In addition to detailing Dr. Madore's management of the Institute's molecular biology, cell culture, stem cell and cytogenetics laboratories, the piece also mentions Coriell's landmark $10M research grant award from the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine of which Dr. Madore is the lead investigator. "We currently manage the single largest publicly available collection of human induced pluripotent stem cell lines and over the next year at our recently established Coriell facility in California, will be adding to this collection," he says in the article.
