Chinese hamster ovary mutant cell line XR-C1, derived from CHO-9 fibroblast cells (GM16132) by ethylnitrosourea mutageneis. XR-C1 is defective in DNA double strand break repair and V(D)J recombination. XR-C1 belongs to x-ray complementation group 7 and is defective in the catalytic subunit of DNA dependent protein kinase (DNA-PKcs). |
