CHDI Foundation
The HD Community BioRepository supported by CHDI (www.chdifoundation.org) is a secure, centralized repository to store and distribute quality-controlled and reliable research reagents. This repository currently provides access to huntingtin DNAs, polyclonal antibodies (with antigenic peptides) and cell lines. Monoclonal antibodies and hybridomas will be added in the near future.
HTT proteins and anti HTT antibodies are a limited resource and in order to provide materials to all HD researchers, and until further notice, only one vial of material can be provided in a four week time frame. The purpose of the repository is to provide "seed stock" for cell lines and plasmids in the recipient's laboratories. Therefore, they should be expanded as necessary and archived as soon as possible after receipt.
