Remarks |
Line KLC; was established in 1992 from a patient in leukemic phase of B-cell lymphoma. His WBC count was 183,000/mm3 and 67% blast cells. The blast cells were positive for HLA-DR, CD19, CD20, and CD21, but were negative for myeloid markers, indicating that the cells are pre-B-lymphoid cells. The sub-cell line, KLC-HSV2 (GM16727), was derived from KLC cell line infected with Herpes Simplex Virus Type II (HSV-2) in January of 1994. |
