Remarks |
Holstein breed. This culture is a clonal derivative of AG07680 obtained by plating single cells at CPD 10. The parental line, AG07680, from a 4 to 5 month old fetus, was initiated on 4/25/79 using cells released by collagenase digestion of the lumen of the thoracic aorta. The karyotype is 60,XY; normal diploid male. The cell morphology is polygonal. This culture tested positive for von Willebrand factor and angiotensin-1 converting enzyme. Culture tested negative for bovine viruses BVD, PI-3 and BHV-1 prior to submission to the Repository. Culture, line BFAE-39b, medium: HF12 15I. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
