| Remarks |
The culture is a post-crisis Adeno SV40 virus-transformed derivative of HIAE-43. It was derived on 5/25/90 by infecting human iliac artery endothelial line HIAE-43 at PDL 15 with Adeno SV40 virus. The culture is 5 passages post-infection. This culture tested positive for the endothelial cell-specific von Willebrand factor and tested negative for alpha-smooth muscle actin (immunofluorescence assays). An untransformed endothelial cell culture from the same donor is AG09872D. |
