Remarks |
Mouse embryonal carcinoma cell line 6B(NG)C25, a compaction-defective, 6thioguanine-resistant variant of line H6 selected for failure to compact as aggregates in culture and subsequently mutagenized with N-methyl-N'nitro-N-nitroso- guanidine. Aggregates of 6B(NG)C25 fail to compact rapidly due to a lack of uvomoralin caused by a deficiency of uvomoralin mRNA. The culture grows as a monolayer. The same culture prior to chemical mutagenesis is AG13178. |
