Remarks |
The biopsy site is the mesial aspect of the mid-upper left arm, taken antemortem. The primary culture was initiated from explants of a 2 mm-punch biopsy. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. Donor has had an abnormal glucose tolerance test since age 52. Donor diagnosed with prostate cancer at age 75 and had a myocardial infarction at age 77. The karyotype is 46,XY with 8% of the cells examined showing random chromosome loss. Donor is the father of AG06282. A culture initiated from a biopsy taken 15 years earlier from this same donor is AG09157. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
