Remarks |
The fat tissue was removed from the subject's abdomen ante-mortem during elective cosmetic tumescent liposuction on 3/22/02. This primary culture was initiated on 3/22/02 by collagenase digestion of fat tissue. This culture tested negative for the endothelial cell-specific von Willebrand factor, negative for alpha-smooth muscle actin and positive for Cy3/Vimentin (immunofluorescence assays). 13.8% of the cells observed at passage 5 showed adipogenic differentiation. THIS SAMPLE WILL ONLY BE SHIPPED FROZEN. |
