Remarks |
The biopsy site is the mesial aspect of the mid-upper left arm, taken antemortem. The primary culture was initiated from explants of a 2 mm-punch biopsy. The karyotype is showing greater instability with the in vitro aging of each succeeding expansion for stock. AG04153B displays less stability than AG04153. Analysis of AG04153 showed random chromosome loss in 6% of the cells; no random chromosome gains and random chromosomal aberrations in 4% of the cells. One of these was an add(13)(p13), but the additional material is noticeably different. Culture grows slowly. Donor is the father of AG04438 and AG05244. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
