The culture was initiated on 12/2/82 from explants of minced lung tissue taken from a therapeutically aborted fetus of 16 weeks gestational age. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The karyotype is 46,XX,14s+. A matched skin-derived fibroblast culture from same fetus is AG06561. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
