Remarks |
The donor showed severe dementia, progressive memory loss, word finding difficulty, dyscalculia and mild to moderate cerebral atrophy on CAT scan. There is no family history of Alzheimer's disease. The culture was initiated on 11/23/82 using explants of minced skin tissue taken antemortem. The morphology is fibroblast-like. The culture is a mosaic with karyotype: 46,XY/46,XY,4p+,12q-/46,XY,t(2;8)(p23;q13); balanced; 70%/14%/ 10% and 6% of cells show random chromosomal abnormalities. Culture was frozen at PDL 11. A lymphoblast culture from same donor is AG06204. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
