Remarks |
The Japanese donor was a clinically affected member of a family with Alzheimer's disease. She had a history of progressive dementia. Diagnosis was autopsy confirmed. Lymphoblast cultures from 3 affected sibs are AG10643, AG10644, and AG10646. The culture was initiated on 10/88 using explants of minced skin tissue. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The karyotype is 46,XX; normal diploid female with 2% of the cells examined showing random chromosome loss. A lymphoblast culture from same donor is AG10645. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
