The frozen cell line submitted to the Repository was recovered and expanded. The expanded line was evaluated for viability surface antigen expression and alkaline phosphatase activity. Pluripotency was assessed via embryoid body (EB) formation and PluriTest. Steady-state mRNA expression patterns of undifferentiated iPSC and EBs were determined via real-time PCR. Characterization data are included in the Certificate of Analysis. |

Induced pluripotent stem cell line derived from adult skin (leg) fibroblasts; subject clinically normal; wild-type; FISH test: 46, XY. This iPSC line (WTC-11) was submitted by Dr. Bruce R. Conklin (Gladstone Institute of Cardiovascular Disease, UCSF) and may serve as a control for diseased iPSCs GM25267 (LQT2) iPSC and GM25305 (LQT3); also available is a collection of fluorescently tagged hiPSC lines from the same subject, using CRISPR/Cas9 technology (for more information, see the Allen Cell Collection at Coriell: https://catalog.coriell.org/1/AllenCellCollection). Researchers purchasing hiPSCs from the NIGMS Repository are responsible for any limited use label licenses (LULLs) applicable to the cell line purchased.
