| Remarks |
The donor had a history of progressive dementia including loss of memory, confusion and disorientation, eventually requiring institutional placement. The skin biopsy was taken ante-mortem from the upper left arm. The culture was initiated on 2/28/84 using explants of minced skin tissue. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The culture is a mosaic with karyotype: 45,X/46,XY; unbalanced; 52%/48%. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
