Remarks |
Donor had a history of progressive dementia. Donor's deceased mother, maternal grandmother, and 2 maternal aunts were affected. Culture was initiated on 12/88 by transformation of lymphocytes with Epstein Barr virus. The cells grow in suspension and their morphology is spherical. The karyotype is 46,XY; normal diploid male. 6% of the cells examined had random chromosome loss/gain. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
