ISCN 41,X>69,XXX, multiple rearrangements cp[10]
Species Homo sapiens
Common Name Human
Remarks AG02804D is a post-crisis SV40-transformed IMR-90 culture. It was derived from the same pool of infected cells that initiated the pre-crisis transformed IMR-90 culture, AG03204A. Both cultures were initiated by infecting IMR-90 at PDL 30 with SV40 virus strain Rh 911. AG02804D contains 100% T antigen positive cells and 1% to 5% V-antigen positive cells. The cell morphology is epithelial-like. The karyotype is 41,X>69,XXXX, multiple rearrangements cp[10]. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product.

Characterizations

IDENTIFICATION OF SPECIES OF ORIGIN Species of Origin Confirmed by Nucleoside Phosphorylase, Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase, and Lactate Dehydrogenase Isoenzyme Electrophoresis DNA fingerprinting and HLA DQ-alpha typing showed that this post-crisis SV40 transformed fibroblast culture had the same pattern and genotype as IMR90, the untransformed fibroblast.

HLA TYPING Analysis of HLA DQ-alpha using the AmpliType forensic DNA amplification and typing kit showed the HLA DQ-alpha genotype for this virustransformed human cell line to be 3,3.
