Remarks |
The donor showed signs of a progressive dementia as early as age 42. Many members of the donor's family are affected and the pattern of inheritance of the dementia is autosomal dominant. The skin biopsy was taken antemortem on 1/9/74 from the upper arm. The cell morphology is fibroblastlike. The karyotype is 46,XY; normal diploid male. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
