Remarks |
The culture was initiated on 9/26/79 from explants of minced skin tissue taken from a therapeutically aborted fetus of 15 weeks gestational age. The cell morphology is fibroblast-like. The karyotype is 46,XX with 2% of the cells examined showing random chromosome loss and 2% showing random chromosomal aberrations. A matched lung-derived fibroblast culture from same fetus is AG04432. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
