Remarks |
The Japanese donor is a clinically affected member of a family with Alzheimer's disease. She has a history of progressive dementia. Lymphoblast cultures from 3 affected sibs are AG10643, AG10645, and AG10646. The culture was initiated on 6/12/88 by transformation of lymphocytes with Epstein Barr virus. The cells grow in suspension and their morphology is spherical. The karyotype is 46,XX with 2% of the cells examined showing random chromosome gain. The legacy karyotype description shown in this Remark may not be representative of the current available product. |
