The Institute is pleased to introduce Dean Stoios, an accomplished financial expert who has guided several global health and clinical research organizations, in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer.

"Dean's business aptitude and astute financial insights perfectly align with the forward-leaning agenda of the Institute," says Dr. Michael Christman, President and CEO of Coriell. "With his guidance, I anticipate Coriell will continue to thrive and prosper as an organization with international reach."

As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Stoios is tasked with overseeing the Institute's fiscal infrastructure, introducing key directives and coordinating all aspects of finance, management reporting and client agreements.

"Coriell is singularly dynamic and a recognized leader across many visionary research disciplines," says Stoios. "I'm thrilled by the prospect of contributing to such an important operation."
The Institute also welcomes Dr. Roland Schwarting, a new appointment to the Coriell Board of Trustees.

Dr. Schwarting is a highly distinguished physician and the current professor and chair of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Cooper University Hospital.

He is regarded as one of the area's top authorities on human disease and holds academic appointments with several institutions, including Rowan University, the Robert Wood Johnson University and formerly Thomas Jefferson University.

As a member of the Coriell Board of Trustees, Dr. Schwarting joins an illustrious group composed of Greater Philadelphia's top professionals from the fields of medicine, finance, law and public service.

"Both Coriell Institute and the Cooper University Health System have established South Jersey as the state's epicenter for progressive and meaningful medical exploration," says Dr. Schwarting. "Each success further reinforces this region's stake as a hotbed of optimization and industry."
