Since its founding 65 years ago, the Coriell Institute for Medical Research has been a home for scientists dedicated to the betterment of human health. Our founder, Dr. Lewis Coriell, was instrumental in the creation of the polio vaccine and our current personalized medicine study, the Coriell Personalized Medicine Collaborative, is determine how the genome can be used to prevent and better treat complex diseases.
