Director of Facilities
Bob Stokes is Director of Facilities for the Coriell Institute for Medical Research. In this role, Bob is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Institute’s facility, its infrastructure, and oversees Coriell’s procurement, and shipping and receiving departments as well.
Bob joined Coriell with nearly 50 years of experience in the construction industry, of which he spent about 20 years as Supervisor of Maintenance for a major hospital. In his career, Bob has also worked in construction management and overseen multi-million dollar building projects.
Starting as a helper in a small construction company, Bob has gained a vast knowledge of relevant construction trades throughout his career and has built a notable network of fellow construction experts.
Bob is currently President of the Healthcare Engineers Association of Southern New Jersey, a Platinum Chapter of the National ASHE Organization.
