Several Coriell Institute employees participated in the 2013 Cooper Norcross Run the Bridge event in early November.
Five thousand participants turned out for the 10K run and 2 mile walk across the Ben Franklin Bridge, qualifying the race as the largest in the tri-state region.
Matthew Self (left), a senior project manager for the National Institute of Neurological Disorder and Stroke (NINDS) Repository at the Institute; Dr. Joseph Jarvis (center), a senior research scientist who focuses on the Coriell Personalized Medicine Collaborative research study; and Dr. Gregor Balaburski, the co-principal investigator of the NINDS Repository, all registered.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Larc School in Bellmawr, NJ, a non-profit education institute for students with disabilities.
Congratulations to all the runners who finished the race and supported a local cause!
