Coriell Institute's President and CEO, Dr. Michael Christman, has been invited to speak at the Personalized Medicine World Conference (PMWC) 2013, a prestigious gathering of some of the most influential figures in the health and medical fields.
The two-day business and educational summit will take place January 28-29 in Silicon Valley and will bring together visionary leaders working to advance personalized medicine, while also welcoming participants to join in the discussion.
Dr. Christman has been acknowledged by the PMWC committee for positioning Coriell at the forefront of innovation and scientific achievement. He will lead a session on the important role interpreting and understanding genomic information will play in delivering clinical care.
Dr. Christman also intends to discuss the challenges of composing a large cohort study – the Coriell Personalized Medicine Collaborative – and will expound on the Institute's productive new partnership with the United States Air Force.
