The Philadelphia Business Journal has recognized Dr. Courtney Kronenthal, Coriell's Director of Communications and Development, as a member of the 2013 Women of Distinction class.
Conducted annually to highlight the greater Philadelphia area's most successful business figures, the distinction is determined by a panel of judges who evaluate career accomplishments and societal impact, amongst other qualifications.
Dr. Kronenthal received the publication's coveted Rising Star Award, the sole recipient, and was acknowledged for her impactful role as Associate Investigator of the innovative Coriell Personalized Medicine Collaborative research study.
"By helping to broker and sustain vital partnerships with top-flight organizations such as the United States Air Force and the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Kronenthal has played a crucial part in ensuring Coriell operates on the frontiers of advanced scientific pursuit," says Dr. Michael Christman, president and CEO of the Institute. "This award is well-deserved."
All of the honorees were recognized at a special ceremony in November.
